Aeroflot currently operates 14 international dedicated cargo routes. By charter cargo can be delivered to any region of the world. Since Network Aeroflot covers more than 150 destinations and representative offices worldwide, we are able to satisfy any request for cargo service. Aeroflot has already invested millions of dollars into improving services, and continues to upgrade, delivering freight within the shortest possible time in complete safety. Aeroflot"s current cargo delivery exceeds 90,000 tons a year, a leading position among Russian air carriers, and one that continues to grow.
In 1998 Aeroflot began its computerized cargo service control system which connects all cargo operations (including representation offices around the world), allowing computerized tracking of shipments from originating point through final delivery via Aeroflot.

In 1995 Aeroflot began providing cargo service on a DC10-30F freight aircraft (McDonnell Douglas Corporation, USA). At the same time we actively operate a fleet of 12 IL-76TD aircraft. Plans include adding additonal DC-10 type aircraft and the new IL96T to our fleet. The highly efficient IL-96T is intended to transport cargo of up to 92 tonnes total weight, and is already considered extremely competitive to the best foreign freight aircraft. Aeroflot IL-96-300, IL-86, Boeing 777, Boeing 737, Being 767, A-310, IL-62, TU-154 and TU-134 passenger aircraft are able to deliver cargo from 1.5 to 15 tonnes together in addition to passenger load.
